Theo Hoffman, a native of Manhattan, is a graduate of The Juilliard School and Los Angeles Opera’s Domingo-Colburn-Stein Young Artist Program.

Highlights of recent seasons include his role and house debut with Opernhaus Zürich as Momus in Platée; appearances with Staatsoper Hamburg as Lescaut in Massenet’s Manon and Prosdocimo in Rossini’s Il turco in Italia; Count Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro with the Israeli Opera; his role debut as Pelléas in Pelléas et Mélisande with the Taiwan Philharmonic; Schaunard in La bohème with Seattle Opera; and Papageno in Barrie Kosky’s Die Zauberflöte with Los Angeles Opera and the Israeli Opera.

An avid recitalist and concert performer, Mr. Hoffman has been heard in prominent venues across the country including Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, and Alice Tully Hall. He has also been featured with the New York Philharmonic, Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, New York Festival of Song, and Juilliard ChamberFest.
