American soprano Emily Pogorelc, praised for her soaring voice and captivating stage presence, has firmly established herself on the world's top stages. Her 2024 Metropolitan Opera debut as Lisette in La rondine was met with unanimous acclaim.

The 2024/25 season features four house debuts and three role debuts, including her first Violetta Valéry (La traviata) at Detroit Opera. She returns to the Metropolitan Opera as Musetta (La bohème) and Pamina (The Magic Flute), debuts at Dallas Opera and Santa Fe Opera. Additionally, she makes her role debut in the title role of Massenet's Manon for Vancouver's Opera West Society.

Notable past performances include Amina (La sonnambula) at Semperoper Dresden, Juliette (Roméo et Juliette) in Milwaukee, and Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro) at Glyndebourne Festival. As an ensemble member of Bayerische Staatsoper, she debuted roles such as Soeur Constance (Dialogues des Carmelites) and Xenia (Boris Gudonov).

Pogorelc has graced the stages of numerous prestigious venues worldwide, including but not limited to Salzburg Festival, Luxembourg Philharmonie, Wigmore Hall, and Kennedy Center.

Her accolades include being a finalist at the inaugural Glyndebourne Opera Cup, receiving The Ginette Theano Prize for Most Promising Talent, and winning third prize at the 2021 Operalia Competition. She was also a semi-finalist in the 2019 Queen Sonja International Music Competition.
