Seating

Subscriptions for our 2008-2009 season are available now. Donizetti's Maria Padilla will be performed on Sunday, November 9, 2008, and Mercadante's Il Giuramento on Sunday, May 31, 2009. In between will be a special recital with Stephanie Blythe and Nathalie Paulin on Sunday May 3, 2009.

All performances will be at 6 p.m. at the Lisner Auditorium of The George Washington University, 21^st and H Streets NW, Washington, DC. (Parking is available on the street or in the University lot located on 22^nd Street. Enter the lot from Eye Street between 22^nd and 23^rd Streets. The Foggy Bottom station on Metro's Blue/Orange line is about a three-block walk from the theater.) See Our 2008-2009 Season for details.

Choose the seating section you'd like and then purchase your tickets as described below. Subscriptions can be ordered now for the three-performance package or the two operas without the recital. Save 10% when you choose either subscription. Subscribers may also purchase additional single tickets in advance of the general public by calling the WCO office; the discount does not apply to single tickets. Tickets for only the Stephanie Blythe recital are not available at this time.

Please note that the renewal deadline for subscribing is JUNE 30, 2008. Single tickets for the general public will go on sale on July 1.

Donors and subscribers receive priority seating. All sales are final, and casting is subject to change. Tickets may be returned to WCO for resale and a tax-deductible contribution credit (minus handling fee). The price listed for the three- and two-performance packages reflects the 10% discount for subscriptions.

NOTE: A limited number of General Admission tickets are available. Seating is in folding chairs at the rear of the Terrace. General Admission tickets can only be ordered by calling the WCO office, 202-364-5826.

Ordering Tickets

Washington Concert Opera offers several convenient ways to purchase tickets including online, email, postal service mail, fax, and telephone. You may request specific seats, but priority is given to subscribers, donors, long-term patrons, and date of ticket purchase (the earlier, the better).
