Opera Gems Lecture: Zelmira

Peter Russell will present an engaging, in-depth lecture, including recorded musical examples, exploring our upcoming performance of Rossini's Zelmira. Light snacks and drinks will be provided.

THIS LECTURE EVENT IS FREE AND OPEN TO ALL WCO FRIENDS AND FAMILY. 

Peter Russell will still be giving an abbreviated version of this lecture 1 hour prior to the performance on Friday, April 5.

The lecture will take place in Room B-120.

There are three entrances to the space:

From Eye Street: Enter the glass stairwell and proceed down one floor to the basement (Note: this entrance is also closest to elevators). After exiting the stairwell, proceed through the double doors that have "Corcoran Music Program" on them and follow the hallway to the main Music hallway. Room B-120 will be on the left side of the hall, about halfway down.

From H Street Terrace: Across from Kogan Plaza, there is a stairwell down to a sunken terrace. Proceed down the stairs and enter the door with "Corcoran Music" on it. Once inside, proceed straight to the main hallway and turn right. Room B-120 will be on the right side of the hall about halfway down.

From H Street Stairwell: Enter the glass stairwell and proceed down one floor to the basement. Take the door straight at the bottom of the stairs to enter the Music Program. After exiting the stairwell, proceed straight down the main hallway. Room B-120 will be on the right side of the hall about halfway down.
